Seniors and Parents of Seniors, I need pictures

*UPDATE: 15 to 20 pictures

Senior Sunday this year will take place on May 2nd.  We'll honor the Seniors that morning and then celebrate with them that night.
...
This means I need pictures!  We will have a slideshow for them that morning.  This slideshow will chronicle their life in (yep, you guessed it...) pictures--from birth (well, maybe just after) to senior year--so collect your favorite pictures.  If they're already digital, that's awesome!  If not, we'll scan them.

There will also be an information sheet to fill out about each senior student.  I'll get that to students/parents as soon as I can.

Please try to get your pictures to me as soon as possible to allow plenty of time to work on the slideshow.
Thanks!!

*The location for the celebration that night is TBD.  If you want to host it or have an idea about where to have it, let me know!

(Yes, that is me my senior year of high school.)

We're going to Six Flags this Thursday!

There's no better time to go to Six Flags than during Spring Break!  (So that may not be true, but at least you're out of school!)

This Thursday (3/18) we'll load up and go to Six Flags.  We'll spend the whole day in the park, unless of course you just can't take it anymore, then we'll crash in Arlington that night.  Friday morning we'll make our way back to Bossier City.

"What is this trip going to cost me?"
I'm glad you asked!  You need $25 for your ticket, plus money for 2 meals (lunch and dinner).

I need to know Wednesday (or sooner!) how many people are going!  Make sure you've filled out the Medical Release form also!

*Parents and volunteers, if you want to help out and go then I want you to also!  We need drivers (what's new?).  Let me know if you can help and want to go!!

Here it is again, with more details...

Leave at 7:00AM.

Coming to the retreat this weekend? Here's what you need to know

30 Hour Famine Retreat
Meet at Airline at 5:30PM OR University at 6:00PM.  We're going to have to carpool.  Once at University, we will all travel together to Camp Forbing.
We'll be back at Airline Sunday right before, or just as church is letting out.  This means we need some people at University with vehicles to help get everyone back to Airline.  You know, the whole carpool thing again.

2 night, 3 days

The retreat is free!  We just want you to try to raise money for the cause!
Remember, the fast starts Friday AFTER lunch.  We will break the fast together.

Packing List:
+ Clothes for playing games in.  Games won't be too demanding but we may play capture the flag one night.
+ Proper shoes.  It might be muddy.  The ground was really soft when I checked it out Monday.
+ Bedding/sleeping bag/pillow.
+ Toiletries.  We're fasting, but we're still promoting good hygiene.
+ Flashlight
+ Bible!
+ Come hungry, leave happy... or something like that.

30 Hour Famine Retreat (Mar 12-14)

When:  March 12-14 (Friday-Sunday)
Where:  Camp Forbing (Shreveport)
Cost:  $50 with a twist!  You have to earn the money (not from your parents)!  Get someone to sponsor you or simply work for it!  And you don't have to stop at $50.  This money is going to fight hunger so earn all you can!

This 30 Hour Famine is about the HUNGRY!  That's why we're going to fast for 30 hours.  We ask that your last meal take place at lunchtime Friday and that afternoon begins your fast.  We'll break the fast together!

Also, bring an entire outfit from your closet at home that you would like to donate to someone who needs it.  Shirt/Pants/Shoes/Etc.
